REAL SD WEDDING OR ENGAGEMENT SUBMISSION:
SDWS is excited to feature REAL South Dakota Weddings. We encourage our vendors and brides to submit content to us. We would like to maintain the integrity of the site and our respect for vendors. Our guidelines are set up to reflect this.
Not all weddings and engagements will be featured. We are looking to attract the contemporary or modern bride and your submissions should reflect this. Our readers love to get inspiration and ideas so images that are submitted should contain many details to accompany the moments and portraits. If we like your submission we may ask to see the entire wedding so that we may find more images to support the post.
For each published wedding or engagement we will need a release from the photographer who needs a model release from the couple on file. Otherwise we will need a release from the couple. These are linked below. Our releases are easy to sign digitally and reflect that you are allowing us to feature the images on our site and that they won’t be featured on other area sites for one-year. Other than the photographer and vendor blogs and websites. The release is linked below.
After your submission is selected we will ask for the model release and contact the couple to get more information on their story.

When submitting images please follow these guidlines:
One – two paragraphs about the wedding
Include 10-50 images per wedding
Unmarked jpg files. 700px or greater on the longest side at 100dpi minimum
Include a psd, pdf or jpg of your company logo if you would like to see that featured in the post
Website you would like listed on the image for photographer credit
You may submit by dropbox, email or any other method that you may already use.
How it works:
We will drop your images into our standard template that features the photographers website on the bottom right corner. Then we will schedule the post and let you know when it will be going live. After the post is live we will link it on facebook and pin your images to our pinterest boards.

Concept Boards are created and posted to give South Dakota Brides inspiration for their own weddings. We encourage vendors to come together to make these boards a real creation. If you would like to bring one of our concepts to creation please e-mail info@sdweddingstyle.com subject: concept to creation. Please include a short summary of which concept board you would like to work on as well as a proposal for location and partnered vendors.
